If you have an Apple Mac computer, whilst pressing the ALT key also press Q.
This changes the Q key to the fancy OE.

To find other key changes like this use the KEYCAPS application in the Apple
menu.

I think the PC version of this is called CHARACTER MAP in the system tools.
