It is a famous remedy for sciatalgia.

The peculiar feature is the associated numbness of
affected parts. Numbness or formication is either an
accompanying symptom or exists in alternation with
sciatalgia. Sometimes the pain is followed by
numbness. When numbness takes the place of the pain,
walking is very fatiguing. Pain is better by drawing
limbs up and is aggravated by lying down, motion and
stepping.

'Headache > washing in cold water'.
