4th Trit: triturating before potentizing?

Carolyn, you raise an important question, I think, about what actually
happens in manufacturing remedies. I would be interested in hearing from
homeopathic pharamacists on the list.
When we were discussing the issue of how remedies were prepared at the Alize
Timmerman seminar in Berkeley last month (October 2002), several people said
that they thought plant remedies were generally prepared directly from the
mother tincture rather than being dried and triturated to C3 before the
potencies were made. What actually does happen, in your experience? It
seems from the information on the powers attained by the various levels of
trituration that the remedies would have a more profound healing effect if
prepared from C3 triturations than if they were made directly from mother
tincture.
Thank you.
