Hi all
there are so many medicines used in the allpoathic system of medicine about which it is not known how they work. but they have been used so frequently, though their clinical side effects are known which are produced on the patients, for example antipsychotic drugs used in psychiatry. this does not mean that it is quackery and these drugs should not be used for the benefit of the mankind if they are able to give some benefit.
When i was lecturing in the Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in the Delhi University, i was posted at the flooded site in Delhi. There were cases of cholera and we used Arsenicum Alb. as preventive. i have seen how effectively it worked. we were able to control the epidemic and save the costs of the Government by avoiding the hospital admissions of the patients.
it was very easy to dispense as we used small polythene bags to dispense the medicines.
Mr James Randi should go there and see the clinical effects and lives being saved by homoeopathic medicines otherwise so many people would have died as you know there is sudden dehydration in cholera and patient needs immediate admission and i.v rehydration as you can not administer oral rehydration powder due to vommitting. few large watery stools are enough to deplete the patient of electrolytes and fluid, specialy in children. With homoeopathic medicines, it was possible to save so many lives.
