Claustrophobia & feeling of being trapped?

Post by becklesfield »

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a remedy that deals with either of the
above feelings? Particularly feeling trapped if kept indoors (this
is a cat) and feeling more confident when outside.

Thanks
Becky

Hi all,

Forgive me if you get this twice at all, I posted yesterday but it
hasn't come through as yet.

Further to the rubric assistance for the cat and dog that was
recently posted, I'm wondering if anyone has rubric ideas for
feelings of claustrophobia, of being trapped and a desire to escape.
Specifically this is a cat who is absolutely furious at being kept
inside the house against his will. Normally we accommodate his
wishes but as it's bonfire season he is being in.

He has responded well to Nux Vom in the past, and I tried him on one
dose of 30C last night, as yet no change.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Becky

Hi Becky,

How about the rubric MIND, FEAR, in a narrow place? The remedies listed for
this in Kent are acon, arg-n, stram, and valer.

Some possible rubrics:

Delusion, wires is caught in
Anxiety from constriction
Generals, constriction, externally (caged with wires)
Delusion, prisoner is
Delusion, wild animal locked in
Delusion trapped

I would also recommend to study the other members of the Loganaceae family ,
as these are affected by any restriction. The fact that the cat has done
well on Nux vom before gives an indication that this plant family might be
well suited.

Good luck,

Rubrics you can consult.
fear narrow place
fear air in open amel
fear room entering a
anxiety air on open amel
etc.
If it is more of an anger rather than anxity then you can see irritability > open air.
Another rubric you can see is escape attempts to with subrubrics such as run away attempts to etc.

Medicines you can think of Arg-n, Puls, Carcinocin.
best regards
