Your description fits into what we refer to as a condition of blood deficiency which may cause a condition of stagnation. One would look to see if in addition to your clinical presentation there are conditions of dryness. Dryness of the skin, eyes, eyes itch, eyes sore, mental brain fatigue, dry hair, perhaps brittle nails, pale or red tongue, respiratory sighing, > with rest< with exertion and/or stress, pulse which would be thin as in clear and distinct but thin. Further, are there any heat signs as in the p.m., pain in the lower back, weak knees. How was her libido?
I would consider nat-m 6X as it would tend to move the body fluid inward toward the organ level. Ig. 200C & LM as it is the acute of nat-m. Cham 1M as it addresses conditions of pain with heat symptoms
Herbally, I would seek to use two classic formulas. Chai hu Shu Gan Wan which treats painful reflections as you described and I would modify it with a second herbal formula Gan Mai Da Zao Tang which treats emotional expressions as you described.
