Is an autoimmune disease, producing pain and weakness in shoulder and also
sometimes the pelvic girdle. This could be demonstrated as just muscle pain
It is usually, as already said, associated with a high erythrocyte
sedimentation rate. It is usually self limiting over 1and a 1/2 to 2
years. There is also general tiredness and fatigue The orthodox treatment is
cortisone which greatly relieves the symptoms. Jean
