Hello Karen, I had a case dx with this (PMR) last week.

Generally described as muscle pains which usually begin in the neck and
shoulders and then spread to limbs - there is stiffness, burning/hot pains +
other descriptive pains, headache, sometimes fevers, loss of appetite and
weight but not always. The test for this is the ESR (erythrocyte
sedimentation rate) which isn't very reliable but if it is high then the dx
is usually confirmed.

Generally considered to be self limiting and it can fluctuate with
remissions and flare-ups and intensity can vary. Steroids and painkillers
are usually prescribd and the person often suffers more from the medication!
If you like I could present the case and others can guess the remedy I gave?

Best wishes, Joy

Is the case with symetric reflection; with manifestation in joint, muscle,
or both; with any skin expression; with any physiological disturbance; and
with any mental component?
