1M is quite a high potency.

Better off, maybe, starting with 200c if you have available.

*Highly recommend* that you make liquid dilution for purposes of repeating
dose.

How often to repeat? "AS NEEDED" ..same as with any other remedy in any
other situation.
This will depend on the individual's sensitivity to some extent.
Initially, you would hope to have some lessening of pain.
If so, you can to some extent be guided by the pain as an indicator of when
to re-dose.
If the injury is very recent, you may be able to avoid extreme bruising by
giving now.

Probably not a good idea to re-dose more than several times per day in
severe bruising injury; definitely do not continue to re-dose on a routine
basis beyond one or two days.

Most likely, you will find that what looks like it would normally be a
situation in which there would be black/blue/purple bruising ... will not
occur, the healing will skip over a week or two of this kind of symptom & go
straight on from there.

Dear Shanny,
Hello, I normally use Arnica 200c single dose to start or 30c repeat as well
as hot and cold application. Then follow by Hyparicum the same dosage to
speed up the healing process. But off course it depends on the level of
pain or which part and how the injury is or how the area is manifesting eg
the picture of pain, bruise, sprain, or........... Then you give the most
appropriate remedy. I had similar experience a few years ago but the injury
was more in my ankles and feet. After a few dose of Arnica within a few
hours, I alternate Hyparicum and Ruta also using hot and cold application
the change happened within a few hours regarding swelling ,numbness and
pain.

Good luck,
Fatima

Parimal Banerji has found that Arn 3c in repeated doses is the potency that
acts best when the injury is very recent and the symptoms are very acute
and painful. He says that "when the acute symptoms of the injury are not
there, then Arn. 3 is much less effective than Arn. 200" ie., the effects
of an injury sustained long ago....

thanx fatima for that. i did give him 30s suggesting tds, but he says it
hasnt even touched it & the physio cant do anything until the swelling goes
down. its then i thought 'how stupid i am' to give a 30 for such a big
accident, but then i thought 'how high should i go'.
so do u think 200s would be better or just go straight for a 1m?

Thanks for reply, it seems fortunately there are a few people on the line
and giving good opinion on this matter. Since you started 30c I personally
think you can go up now to 200c and see how it goes. In this way you might
need go with the fellow and use ascending method until he respond or look at
other remedies for accident and injury. You may need to look at the state
that he is at and so on. May be would be an idea to have an x-ray in case of
miner crack in the part which is not obvious at this point. I hope it has
been some help. It is pass midnight here in UK I must say good night.

Best wishes,
Fatima
