Rubric - Teeth

Dear friends,

How should I repertorize teeth that have "hairline"-type fractures in them? I don't have the dental term for this but the teeth have visible "cracks" in them - the teeth are still whole and smooth but you can see the line of a crack. Some teeth have 2 vertical lines and presumably, they will eventually split the teeth into pieces.

The case is going to have the teeth veneered (artifical front that is attached/embedded to the front of the teeth) but is concerned about the overall strength of the teeth.

Any thoughts? Are the rubrics -- Teeth/caries or -- Teeth/crumbling, good enough?

Sincerely,
Natasha

if the teeth are cracked and obviously weakened, i would recommend the person
get a couple of othe opinions. having gone through a horrible experience where
a dentist recommended a procedure which totally failed and then another one did
major bridge and crown work which also failed, i would say the person should be very gun
shy. this work is akin to surgery and should be taken just as seriously.
