Jon you present a probing inquiry. One which may have a rational resolution. The difficulty encountered is the need to stretch the thinking advanced in the Organon just a little bit in order to entertain the concept of energetics of specific tissue aspects of the organism. An operative premise is the inseparable relationship of the somatic and nonsomatic terrain. And that we observe their reflective manifestations through the automatic life force. We bring to bear remedies that are of some state of dilution from mother tincture at one end (this is the terrain of herbal medicine) to profound ratios at the other end, and much in-between.
I think what we may find in agreement is that the MT and lower dilutions reflect themselves at the more superficial tissue aspects of the organism. And as we go higher is potency we simultaneously acquire reflection at deeper tissue aspects of the organism. Ultimately with the LM's finding reflection in the nonsomatic terrain and a 'gentle' coursing outward through the soma.
I offer to you for your consideration constrained and simplistic examples. My intention is to address the singular issue of differentiating the affects upon the terrain of the organism by different dilutions.
An acute condition of a runny nose with clear discharge, and burning lachrymation. Perhaps we might apply Allium Cepa 4X or 6X. An acute condition of pain in the neck and impaired articulation of the head as a consequence of a trauma, perhaps from a jarring action as in an automobile accident. Perhaps we might apply Gelsenium 1M. An acute condition of respiratory 'arrest' might bring to mind the application of Adrenalinum 10Mor 50M. And lastly a conditiion of sadness or grief as an expression of trauma to the mental terrain which we might treat with Ignatia LM1.
Without regard to any other parameters or aspects of a real case, I believe we might find agreement in observation that the lower potencies reflect in the superficial aspects of the somatic terrain with a distant relationship to the mental terrain. And as we dilute our remedies we will find reflection from the more substantive aspects of the bodies energetics to the more etherial, as in the mental terrain.
I find that the dilutions reflect in a manner consistent with the allopathic identification of their Matrix. LM's seem to offer an impact upon the mental terrain more directly; M's seem to reflect more directly in the blood level and endocrine aspects; 200C to 600C seem to reflect more directly in the connective tissue level; 60C to 200C seem to reflect in the lymphatic level; and MT to 60X in the superficial aspects of the organism which likely reflect the physiology of excretion.
So as to avoid any embattlement on other issues I emphasize again that my intention is to identify what I have observed in differentiating manifestations of the automatic life force based on potency and tissue impact as assessed by use of the Matrix.
You have raised other issues as in succussion vs. stirring; and dilution vs. substantive amount of a remedy in solution. I believe it is fair to say that succussion causes an excitation of the remedy's potential, as in more promotional of its affects. And the issue of the value of a substantive presence of a remedy in solution I believe has a relationship with the condition of the automatic life force, as in its state of integrity and ability to utilise what has been offered to it.
Kind regards and pleasant tidings
