Dear Soroush
This is the complete case history of the patient.
The patient is 26yr old, single, youngest of the 5 daughters
of her family.Presently working as a private secretary in
a pvt company. She belongs to a middle calss family and had
some financial problems 1 yr back which were all settled later.
Her present complaint is dry scaly, itching, eruptions on occiput
which bleeds on scratching. It started 7 mnths back.Itching is
< on scratching, whilebathing and at night when shes in bed.she
had used some external applications before by which it first
disappeared,but reappeared after 2 mnths.Before that she had a
mild lower urinary tract infection treated by alloapthic medicines.
she doesnt remember the medicine bcoz it happened 1 yr back.
Her vaccinations were all done before she reached 5.She had her
first attack of epilepsy when she was 11yrs of age,it occured at
night.
she was rushed to an allopathic physician and since then was under
conventional treatment by antiepileptic drugs(phenobarbitone-100mg,
1 tab daily). Her mother suffers from the same complaint. She doesnt
exactly remember the cause of her ailment but her mother says as
a child she was very obstinate and used to become angry when her
wishes were not fulfilled.Whenever she abstained from her daily
medication,nocturnal fits reappeared.
Her menses is regular.last for 3 days. She is extremely irritable and
depressed during the first day.1 week after menses Leucorrhoea
appears, which is profuse and thick white, along with this painful
pimples appear on her face especially arnd her chin.
She likes spicy food, fried items, fish(prawns),cold food. Generally
she has diminished thirst, drinks water less frequently even in hot
season. She prfers cold drinks.Urine passed is less.Bowels are moved
once in 3 days.Large hard stools expelled with much straining.
Mentally she is indolent with aversion to household work.she gets
easily irritated especially when someone speak against her.Impatient
because of slow recovery.
Thank you
Neena
