MMof HMN ANTIPSORIC Rx - MEZ. (16)

Post by Farbod Rahnamai »

MEZEREUM OFFICINALE-16

**********************
Now we know that the most important locations which MEZEREUM will act on are:

1_SKIN
2_NERVES of head, face and jaw etc.
3_BONES of head , face and jaw ,etc.
4_MUCOUS MEMBRANE of mouth and stomach ,etc
We have studied its sensations and modalities in skin and nerves. We begin to study its bone's sensations, modalities and time.

In EXPANDED WORK OF NASH the first line about the remedy is:
"Pains in the long bones, especially the tibia, are sometimes greatly relieved by this remedy."
"Pains in the periosteum of long bones, especially the tibia, worse at night and in bed; least touch intolerable; worse in wet weather."
I would be pleased if anyone find any rubric of bone location which contained MEZ. in synthesis.
Regards

Farbod

Dear Robin
Thanks for your attention. The electronic way is okay. The aim is to
understand what does it mean "BONE LOCATION".
It will also help us preceive it's different sensations, times and
modalities.

Thanks Ali and Tanya. I found these rubrics the most intresting ones:

FACE - CARIES of bone - Jaws - lower
EXTREMITIES - CARIES of bone
GENERALS - CARIES - Bone, of

From now on I will think of MEZ. in cases of caries of bone.
There is two infectious diseases (allopathic name of the disease) that can
cause BONE CARIES. Is there anyone who remember these two diseases?

Regards
Farbod

How about osteomyelitis, TB osteomyelitis, and also skeletal syphilis,
which is apparently making a comeback.

Thanks Robyn and Tanya. You guessed correctly. Tuberculosis, Syphilis and Leprosy can cause such bone carries. Of course any kind of osteomielitis (bone inflammation) can cause bone carries. But these 3 types are more interesting for us. Don't forget that some authors call it (MEZ.) plant MERC.
