Dear List

My friend's baby girl is suspected of contacting meningitis. She is only a
few mths old.
I need advice urgently on the treatment available to her. She is warded in
the hospital
and will be put on antibiotics. Can she received homeopathic treatment at
the same time?

Of course she can be treated homeopathically when receiving Antibiotics. Try
finding the most similar remedy focusing on physical generals which should
be more readily seen in an infant than specific sensations, etc. For
example, is she dull, sleepy, restless, anxious? Thirsty/thirstless?
Chilly/hot? Any possible A/F? Any recently suppressed eruptions, etc? and
so on.

perhaps consult with someone local or long distance is you don't feel
comfortable doing it yourself.

Dear TC
Your approach should be symptomatic. I was dealing with a case of baby girl admitted at The Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto for meningitis and many other problems.She was successfully treated by antibiotics & hom. medicine simultaneously. I provided Hom. treatment with the concent of hospital authorities. I am sure there will be clearcut indicating symptoms you can find & treat them accordingly.
