Greetings,

I was advised that this was one of the best homeopathic groups
on the net. I am just getting into homeopathy.I have serveral intro
level books, Everyones guide and Homeopathic Medicine at Home. I was
wondering if anyone could recamend an intro level Materia Medica and
Repertory?

Welcome, Mark. Boericke's combined Materia Medica & Repertory is pretty good for its portability, but his system of repertorizing is unlike Kent's or computer programs based upon Kent's model. As a bulkier alternative, I'd recommend Phatak's Materia Medica and Kent's Repertory. One drawback to Kent's, however, is that it does not include many newer remedies, which Robin Murphy's Homeopathic Medical Repertory does. This last is organized alphabetically rather than in standard top-down homeopathic order.
For the ultimate in portability (think of backpacking in the wilderness), consider Boger's Synoptic Key to Materia Medica. Another materia medica that's useful because it combines materials from so many other homeopaths is Margaret Tyler's Homeopathic Drug Pictures.
