Rajan's seminar at Baroda.- a perspective.

Hi,
By now Rajan's interpretation of disease as delusion and
the need to discover the state of the patient as opposed to
the mere assembly of mental symptoms is well known as also his
theory of the miasms. These have greatly helped the homeopaths
the world over to have a better grasp on the selection of the smm.
An equally path breaking discovery that Rajan made recently
is the concept of "vital sensation", which is common to all
varieties of life on earth including the plants and the mineral
and the animal kingdoms as well as us the human beings.
Over the last couple of years he developed tools that help
in diagnosing this vital sensation of the patient and matching it
with that of remedies from the plant kingdom and select the smm.
This information along with Rajan's other discovery of diagnosing
the predominant miasm of the patient will help us in narrowing
down the selection to the exact and precise smm.
The system now developed by Rajan is akin to what Scholten
did in respect of the periodic table where the stages (vertical columns)
and the series (horizontal rows ) help you in locating the smm from
among the minerals kingdom. Here in Rajans system you can
likewise make the selection from the plant families making use of
the vital sensation and miasm which give you the x and y coordinates
that define the smm.
The proof of the pudding lies in eating it. So also Rajan showed at the
seminar video cases solved by him making use of his new discovery
and the follow up also shown in the videos demonstrated beyond
any shadow of doubt the scientificity (?) of the system he developed
which at the end of the seminar he cautioned it to be used as a
valuable complimentary tool to the traditional method of selection of the
smm and not as a substitute to it.
Now that I had the opportunity of attending the seminar, I feel I can
easily follow the concepts and his new method outlined in his recent
book "An Insight into the Plants", vol 1&2 which I just received
and I hope to make the best use of them. The balance of the plant
families , he said will be covered in a 3rd volume which along with the
book "Sensations in Homeopathy" are expected early next year.
From the beginning to end hearing him was like a melodious raga
elaboration and he kept his audience spell bound like a pied piper.
His taking of the case resembled that of a tarentula waiting on its
prey with immense patience almost till the fag end of the interview
and then in the closing moments, almost as a flash he delivers the
devastating life giving blow that blows up the case into full view and the
patient finally surrenders his innermost feelings that were the root
cause of his delusion/disease. And ok, he did jump to his heart's content
during the course of his lecture and concluded his seminar singing
a hindustani raga to the delight of all those present. For me this is a
memorable experience that I cherish for long as I had a similar
experience some years ago when a airhostess sang a brief but
captivating song on the address system at a stopover at Atlanta
and it was so refreshing that for a moment all the passengers
forgot the monotony of life and applauded her for the spirit of it.
Finally I am extremely grateful for the Discovery Forum headed
by Dr Praveen Marsellin and his dedicated band of colleagues
who arranged this 2-day seminar at Baroda for the benefit of the
homeopaths of this region.
With best wishes,
V.T.Yekkirala.
