Alhers disease/syndrome

I'd like to find out about Alhers disease - a connective tissue disorder,
with in this case deformed fingers and toes, very easy bruising and slow
healing. I particularly want to understand prognosis, natural course and
time frame for disease and any other pathological or concommitant symptoms.

Any resources or practical knowledge would be gratefully received.

Thanks
Tessa Mackenzie

Tessa,

sounds like you are referring to ehlers-danlos syndrome. Here is one of the
many sites with information: http://www.ceda.ca/. Hope this is helpful.

Hi Tessa,

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
http://www.ednf.org/typesofeds.php

It seems probably psoric.
If in an infant, prognosis from a homeopathic standpoint would be far better
than an adult.

some remedies to begin studying as you collect information
Sec, ant-t, caust, kali-c, lyc, calc

Dave,

I would think EDS is syphilitic as it is a destructive process with
significant pathology. There is a genetic lack of enzymes, etc. If this is
the case, "curability" would depend on whether the gene for the missing
enzyme is actually absent or just not functioning. If it is lacking, then
would this not be analogous to an amputation or lack of other organ i.e. not
curable? If the gene is present but not producing the enzyme for which it
codes, then perhaps there is a better chance for real improvement. Just the
way I see it.

be well
