"While I agree that a remedy always does something whether perceived or not,
I don't understand how we can say it never stops working.

You answered your own question, Russel.
Hahneman did multiple provings, yes, and after each one, he antidoted what he had been proving.
That is how he found out what antidotes each remedy in the first place.
Yes, in my Research Organiation, I have found what I said to be true.
They ALWAYS keep working, forever.
Unless you antidote them out.
If you do not, you are stacking symp[toms, and treating symptoms on top of symptoms, never really knowing who the real person is.
This is the way I practice.
I am simply stating a truth which I have found and proven to be correct.
Animals prove remedies easily as well.

I can say that this has not been my experience with animals or people
including myself. Where have you seen that Hahnemann antidoted the provings
in which he partook?

Hi Alva,

I've heard this view before...
But they why do we need to repeat remedies, and esp. to repeat same potency
at times?

Dear Alva Irish

Hahnemann did not antidote each proven remedy. He waited till the case showed secondary action. Other homeopaths didn't antidote any case after proving too. It is needed only when the artificial disease is dangerous for prover. There is no need to antidote every proving. Secondary action is the action which your vital force provide to antidote a proven remedy. Only in critical cases of heavy proving we need to antidote.
Regards

Farbod

Dear,
For homoeopathic mismanagement of a case, where many
dissimilar remedies were prescribed, antidote
suggested is SEPIA, though I don’t remember the source
of my information.
