David Johnson, CCH, has just completed a book ten years in the making! Radiance, Resonance and Healing: The Homeopathic Periodic Table was written for students, practitioners, and others interested in the use of periodic table elements for healing. Dear Dana

I am guessing that you have read this book.

Please can you let us know how the various elements of the Periodic Table were each proved so that their properties and healing powers were discovered.

This is important because if they were not proved and their listed properties are theoretical, then their use would not be homeopathy!
Of interest is Fluorine given as an example in the link below.

Fluorine is such a reactive element that it would be very difficult to produce a remedy from it. (It even reacts with glass.)

If it dissolved in water as a first step, then we are dealing with Hydrofluoric acid and not fluorine.

Dear Soroush,
As we all know, the “constitutional” symptoms of many polychrests are not found in provings, but in clinical practice.
Books like Scholten’s and this new one by David A. Johnson discuss some elements that are NOT remedies, such as fluorine. You therefore cannot prescribe fluorine…but in this book, the author describes other commonly used homeopathic medicines that have issues around embarrassment (Thuja and Hyoscyamus) for which one can prescribe.
The bottomline is that it is useful for some homeopaths to have more than one strategy to find the best remedy for patients. Whether one uses the miasmatic theory, the family theory, the bowel nosode theory, or others, these are tools for solving the complex process of providing benefits for patients.
