Anti Mosquito Remedy?

Dear All,
Have been looking at homeopathic options to be less 'tasty' to mosquitos. Has anyone had luck with this?
I have found several commercial options that are combination remedies but would prefer a single remedy option. I've previously read that taking B- vitamins can be helpful to deter mosquitos from biting, but this has not proven to deter the little vampires at all, as I (and family members) take a B complex vitamin daily. In So Cal, we have teeny tiny mosquitos that aim for one's ankles and these biters have voracious appetites. Any luck with deterrence using a remedy(s)? Thanks, Deb L.

Not homeopathic but it works in NYS--I splash vinegar on my exposed skin.
It keeps mosquitos away as well as these really nasty no-see-ums that strike at sundown and leave
much itchier teeny bites that take far longer to heal.

Various essential oils repel mosquitos
You can mix a few drops of citronella and/or lavendel oil
e.g with coconut oil
Some use also cloves / cedarwood oil in combinations
There might be other oils doing the trick as well
Personally I manage with citronella oil, occationally mixing w lavender

I thought Staph 6 worked for this and I have given it to patients with success.

Me too. But I’ve used 30C.
How about for ticks? Different people get bit by ticks.

Tanya and Leilanae,
Thanks for your replies and . . . the miniature winged biters I'm talking about are the ones called "no see-ums", which I just looked up and they are also known as biting gnats and biting midges.
Good idea about putting the vinegar on ankles -- I talked to a neighbor about this issue and, too funny, she told me that she is slathering her ankles with Vicks Vapo Rub when she is out in the yard, it keeps them away, but, quite a stinky method.
The same website that I mentioned claims that pyrethrum, which is derived from chrysanthemum flowers, is the most widely-used botanical mosquito and no-see-um control product. Supposedly you can buy it in a misting container and spray it around the patio or outdoor area, not directly on skin.
Thanks for all suggestions, here. Deb L.
