Hello Friends,
I want to make a few comments on Lyme Disease.
The first is that it was responsible for my getting into homeopathy.

I had it, bad, went into Late Lyme, including the mental symptoms of
aphasa, chronic fatigue, neurological headaches, and joint problems.
I was on antibiotics for more than 3 years, everytime I went off I
relapsed.
Even was on IV therapy for awhile.

My homeopath gave me a dose of Calc Carb 200C and the Lyme dissapeared.
Took quite awhile to get energy back up to speed, but that was the nature
of the healing.
That was at least 12 years ago, and Lyme has never been a problem since.
I still farm, still get tick bites frequently, and no, they don't upset
me or bother me.

Rarely have I use Ledum. And, rarely have I had clients that I have
given Ledum to unless it is in the very early stages (the first time a
tick is noticed.)

I have had several clients come in with positive lyme titers, and they
have used homeopathy without antibiotics, and the next time their blood
test was taken it came out clean. So, yes, homeopathy will cure lyme
(forever) and like all of our successes it definitely depends on the
symptom totality, especially the mental symptomology.

When I get a Lyme client, the first question I ask is "What happened to
upset you or discomfort you 'before' you got the Lyme symptoms?" That
usually starts a flood of material that is useful for finding the remedy
to 'cure' the Lyme.

Just FYI, some of the successful remedies have been Staph, and Rhus tox,
but there are lots more and I would have to go through my files to give
you the actual results.

My Libra nature just had to give you the other side and let you know tht
Ledum might be good, but it does not substitute for a symptom totality.

So when you're repping a case of Lyme's, do you pay close attention to their
symptoms of the disease, or what place does that have in the appropriate
totality? If someone is not aware of a strong M/E "causative" shortly
before the infection, does that present a problem, or would you expect
equally good results without it? (I am wondering partly because of a friend
whose 20-year undiagnosed Lyme's has been -- as of last I heard -- treated
unsuccessfully by both hoemopathy and other things; after 20 years, it seems
quite possible that she doesn't *know* what was going on "just before"; they
are only guessing as to when "just before" must have been...

repair on its own and the rest should respond to remedies. She should not
give up with homeopathy. The right remedy could be just one consult away.

You need to see a properly qualified homeopath for treatment. This is far too serious to be taking advice from an unknown person over the internet.
In my experience, homeopathy can work very well in conjunction with other treatment such as antibiotics or steroids once the homeopathic dose has been adjusted to take this into account. So I would find a homeopath and start on the homeopathy without delay even if you are still on the doxycycline - give it all the chances you can get.

With that being said, you are better off to find a skilled homeopath to treat your Lyme disease. I am still dealing with the manifestations of Lyme disease in my dogs' cases that were treated with antibiotics back in 2001.

Spectrum issue No. 3 for 2015 (Narayana Verlag) is devoted to treating Lyme disease (borreliosis). For those who see a lot of chronic Lyme cases, it's invaluable.
Some years ago a book came out of Europe on treating Lyme, but to me at least its practical usefulness was questionable. Lyme in Europe seemed quite different from what I saw in the U.S. The cases in Spectrum, however, make sense to me -- and introduced me to some useful new remedies, like Lolium-t. The magazine is expensive but worth it.
