After 4 or 5 scary things happening in one month….and dentist took my blood
pressure and it was 180….and some other not that high readings in 150s and
160s…always low on the diastolic…I took a nat mur 30c. That was about two
weeks ago. My blood pressure is all over the place and had to buy a blood
pressure machine and actually went to a doctor and had blood tests. WEird
feelings in my chest…blippy feelings and sometimes chest feels hot and
sometimes it feels cold…i'm warmer than usual…I wondered if the nat mur
could be doing this to me. I had a panic attack one time from all these weird
sensations in my chest….bp went up to 200….then down to 154 after friend
came over. Started low dose med …4th dose today…not gone down yet… but
I might have been taking bp with hand too low of my heart line. I know
homeopathy can reduce blood pressure…as my mother's ended after one high
dose of calc carb but the homeopathic dr. knew that was her constitutional
remedy. I don't know mine but a series of Nat mur in early 2000s helped me a
lot with some issues. I don't know whether to try to antidote it or wait a
couple of more weeks..Or search for a homeopath. Dystolic is in normal range
but it did go down to 49…and the doctor wants me to go back tomorrow because
of that? . Anyone have experience with this? I'm doing all the things I'm
supposed to do, lower salt, drink more water, exercise.

Get a treatment by a homeopath, you sound totally panicked....in the meantime get some Rescue Remedy, Olive leaf extract 2000mg/day and magnesium 400mg/day at least in the form of threonate, glycinate or stearate; use ginger tea, it is a vasodilatator that will drop your BP.

I went to Dr. this morning and she gave me a choice of taking hibiscus tea and
Hawthorne tincture OR the blood lowering med but she ended up telling me I had
orthostatic blood pressure. The blood pressure gets lower when standing up and
sitting from lying down. I don't really understand what she was saying…why
would I continue the blood pressure lowering meds or hawthorne with low blood
pressure issues. Have to call and find out.

It would help for you to do some research on what orthostatic hypotension is. It doesn’t preclude having hypertensive episodes. The crataegus tincture was a good idea.

BTW, it’s always a good idea when facing a health crisis to visit the doc with someone you trust, someone who can take notes and maybe even ask questions you might have forgotten. There’s nothing like having an advocate when you’re ill or have to deal with the medical profession!

I’m guessing the phrase she used was “orthostatic hypotension”, which just means that the blood pressure falls (instead of rising a bit as it ought to) when the person stands. It’s a classic sign of adrenal fatigue, but can also happen from simple dehydration. You might experience that as feeling a tad unsteady (or even flat-out dizzy) on first standing, and if it’s from dehydration, drinking a glass of water should help pretty quickly—and if not, then look to strengthening the adrenals. (Remedy of course if you know which, but major “food for the adrenals” includes Vitamin B5 / pantothenic acid, and Vitamin C. And there are many herbs and herbal formulas that can help also.)

And as Dale said, one can have “blood pressure drops on standing” along with blood pressure that is either low or high overall.

Hawthorne, aka Crataegus, is a regulator of BP (as part of other properties) meaning that if it is low it will make it higher, if it is high it will lower it, normalise the BP, BUT it is "green allopathy" (which I use generously, BTW), it will help you without any risk for your symptom of blood pressure irregularity but not solve the problem, which is what we do.

Get an appointment with a homeopath, do not play with those symptoms....imagine what happens if your BP drops while you are driving...
