When I was at college, we had a safety talk from an established and experienced homeopath.
He drew a picture of his consulting room.
His seat was the nearest to the door and the patient sat away from him with a desk in between. He said you need to have plans for escape just in case!

I am also a volunteer community first responder and in dealing with a patient we go through DRs ABC.
D is for Danger. Need to see what dangers may be facing the patient and or helper!

R – Checking for response

S – Send for help

A – Check airway is clear

B – Breathing

C – Circulation.
And DANGER is paramount – our safety comes first! So please have a system for dealing with angry and perhaps violent patients.
