Minutus

Is there one remedy over all others that you would use to stop a nose bleed
that was going on a long time? I would think of Phos but there are others.
Anyone out there with any experience?

Rochelle - I was once asked to help a spinal bifida case (a lot of bleeding)
- I gave Phos. and did not get anywhere. Another homoeopath, much more
experienced than myself, suggested that Phos. might be, in this case, too
deep an acting remedy. - Regards - John

Carbo veg; Crocus; and Sulphur ( this one = especially at night). But also
look at Epistaxis, persistent - there are others and if specifically night
time then that would rule out some.

Any modalities? Often a couple of modalities, juxtaposed, will narrow the
range of potential remedies from huge to just a couple or three. It's worth
the effort to try finding some!

Hi Joy ,
Thanks for those. This child does bleed at night!! I did think of Sulphur
but gave Puls. 30 - split as he was soooo clingy today and doing a Baryta
Carb hiding behind her. Puls. is a remedy with bleeding at night. Mum is a
worrier (I hope to get her as a patient soon!!) so was looking for a acute -
instant stop the bleed - type of Rx!!

What a great modality. His started after a bad bout of tonsillitis when he
was hospitalised a couple of years ago. There is a vague possibility that he
may start them off by boring his finger up his nose!! They come mostly at
night - in bed and are profuse , bright red, no clots!!
