I've been following your thread re P I.. I am getting hives from poison sumac & I've tried Rhus Tox this summer 30c, but it comes back now for 2 summer's in a row. I have it growing in my Lantana's, my husband pulls it out by the root, but it pops up again in another location. I'm having a horrible time with hives each summer until cold weather knocks it out! Anyone have any suggestion's? I live in Florida.

How does mezereum fit your symptoms? What modalities are there?

Try Rhus Venenata. I suffered massively for years from poison ivy. My sx always repped out for Rhus tox but is didn't work. One year it was suggested I try Rhus V. What
a miracle it has been. It did not alter my core susceptibility, but sure got it under control each summer--it gave me my summers back. Since I don't have cats anymore I have
been pretty free of the scourge as my outdoor cats would walk thru it and get it on me when they came for petting or would sleep on me. And if 30c does not work, go up
to 200c.

I don't know how you did, but Anacardium is from the same family and it is supposed to be better for poison ivy than Rhus-tox. Of course you have poison sumac so it maybe different.

In my case, I did Anac--no effect; tried about a dozen remedies before using Rhus V. Remember "in each individual case."
A very good reference is a manual written by Joel Kreisberg on treating Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Poison Sumac homeopathically.
He cites numerous remedies. Using his manual I once gave Ledum for a PI case because the sensation was cold and it worked.
