Other than the obvious Arnica and Phos what would anyone put in an operation
pack for someone having a hip replacement?

Staph. for the knife cut, Hypericum for nerve injury and pain, Calendula for
healing are god ones but Bellis I give routinely for soft tissue operations
like hysterectomy and I can't really see why it would be good for a hip op.
Can you explain why the Ruta? Are you thinking of after the op when he is at
home? I always include Pyrogen for septicaemia in my packs andget my
patients to take Echinacea HT for 2 weeks before going into hospital to
build up the immune system!!!!!

I presume because it is painful when he walks. This was decided by an
allopathic consultant before he came to see me for psoriasis and a yellow
nail fungus which is doing very nicely on Thuja 30 !!
