New Question on Green Perilla Leaf

Hello,
I’m reading all of this mercury teeth stuff. I went through it one time and I have to do it again. I am taking all of your advice, so thank you!
Now I have another situation: I want to use organic green perilla leaf and organic ginger to do a fermented “supplement” Lynn/Ellen… maybe you know. Saying that, I don’t want to buy from Japan ((only because of the radiation)) and I’m not sure if I can trust anything grown in China and promised to be organic. I could grow it myself, but I don’t have time. Seeds are easy.
Do you know of any grower/exporters from any other location outside of my self described safety zone? And, can we trust China if they say an herb is organic? I don’t think so, but I’m willing to be wrong!
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
