Guidance for discussing cases

Dear All
When discussing cases on this Forum, members are asked to ensure that the personal identity of those people being discussed is not divulged, unless you have the expressed permission of the patient to do so.
This includes not just their name, address, and other personal contact details, but details like their relationship to you, GP and Hospital information, or any other information that might be used to trace the individual concerned.
The discussion of cases is a useful tool in our personal and professional development, but the greatest care must be given to ensuring the anonymity of an patient being discussed on this Forum.
Thanks
