Hi all 3369 members of this public list. Eeeeeeeeeek!............didn't realize there were soooo many members.
OK, here's the question: if someone posts an email and I would like to contact them off list/privately, how do you do it? What do you click on?

Re: How to question
Probably depends on where you are looking at the messages. I look at them on my g-mail. If I scroll down to the very end of the message I see this line: "Posted by:" and then full e-mail address of the person.

Hi Victoria,
I do not receive the emails. I go to the group webpage and read/respond from there.
(The group site has an extensive searchable archive.)

Click on the sender's name in the 'from' line in the header. You will have choices including editing or adding the sender to your
email

There is a subject line
The senders name (is not "clickable")
The message

Re: How to question
Leilanae,
One possibility might be to just ask someone who gets the separate emails if they wouldn’t mind pulling out the email address for you. On your email here on my screen, or instance, if I cut-and-paste your address on the top line, I just get the minutes address. But it does *show* your actual address, followed by [minutus], so I can hand-type it in. (For a test, I’ve put you in as a cc; see if you get that in your email?

Hi Shannon,
I am reading and responding to your email on the groups.yahoo website.
I did not receive an email from you at my personal email address.
Please contact me at my personal email. (It's the same as it has always been.) We haven't chatted for a while .........let's catch up.
