Dear Colleagues,
I am looking for any support for repairing torn rotator cuffs, torn tendons or rotator cuff tendinitis (no MRI’s have been done yet to confirm for sure size) for two middle age women I am treating.
Neither is the result of an actual injury in sports or something like that – they just evolved perhaps from lifting too heavy a purse or bad, housework, etc.
High stress family lifestyles in both, and many work demands, so that with chronic painful sleep over several months and now unresolved shoulder issues has evolved to fatigue, and even depression.
Would you please share ideas if you have suggestions?
We have already tried Arnica of course, Ferrum Met 200C for several days already and several weeks of Ruta, plus Rhus Tox in various potencies, on and off (perhaps not enough dosing?) but with no marked success.
How long does Ferrum Met dosing take to heal typically – does anyone know?
Any more remedy advice, Gemmo support advice, oligotherapy advice to help these busy, working moms is greatly appreciated!
In health,

Took me a year of doing the exercises that my osteopath showed me to get rid of mine completely!! Admit I didn’t bother with remedies other than the usual arnica after I fell and injured myself trying to save my fall.

Gemmos, you can think about Ampelopsis weitchii, Pinus montana, Equisetum arvense, Quercus robur according to their respective materia medicas, and vitamin C high dose to rebuild collagen.

Hi, Kari
As to torn tendons, I snapped one in my calf years ago and did fine with just Arnica. Did so fine that I didn't bother to rest it and ended up aggravating the injury. The lesson learned from that was to give my body a chance to heal and not abuse it.
With a torn meniscus two years ago, I found tissue salts (Calc-fl., Calc-ph., and Silica) invaluable. Also Ruta in low potency.
Injuries to tissues of this kind take a very long time to heal. I suspect you've been going too high in potency and perhaps your patients are expecting too much. This is no overnight cure. And if the injuries resulted from over-lifing, Ferrum-met. may not be the appropriate remedy.
Peace,
Dale
