It is very humbling when you think you have found the Simillimum, the perfect match, and your cat, dog, or horse turns his head away.
So you go back to the drawing board, study again, and find another remedy. When the animal laps it up willingly, you know you did it well!

In 1994, one of my dogs torqued off her foot, which required a steel plate, 7 screws and a bone graft. For two weeks, every morning, I would offer her a spoon of Calc-ph or Symphytum. She would sniff at each, and then lick the one she needed that day (thereafter we went to once a week). The vet surgeon had told me "10-12 weeks recovery". Inflammation was down after 2 weeks. Her X-ray at 8 weeks showed total healing.

I thought I was the only one to think animals chose their remedies... but now I see this is a very accepted and even commom practice!
One of my cats would ONLY eat her food if I put Mercurius sol drops in it (she had a condition well covered by Merc sol).
Look, she has never seen me put the drops in the food, nor did they leave any different taste, because it was only 2 drops well mixed in a full bowl of wet food. But she simply refused to eat if the remedy wasn't there. Until she got better and no longer needed it. Then she started to eat her food without the remedy. They are awesome. They always know. And I learned to never give them medicine that they don't willingly accept to take.

HI, could anyone here recommend a good book for treating cats? I had human sources before but sadly they have passed away. I learned a lot, but there is so much more!

Long time ago and never used it, but I remember the vet books by Macleod seemed to be very good.

HI and thank you. I do have Macleods book, but I was hoping for more.
I'm in Canada and we don't seem to have Homeopathics or practitioners available to us,especially for pets.

interested will get you their information. But there are people who work long distance.
