Happy New Year to all of you !
Maria again I concur with you - essential oils are nice to use but do not use them with remedies - some remedies will be negated by essential oils. However both have a place in alternative health but as you said I have never seen HEALING by essential oils in the physical sense - now mentally I have seen improvements.

Subject: Re: [Minutus] essential oils vs remedies
The question is, What needs to be cured?
Symptom management vs the total health of the person.
Symptom management may be all your friends are looking for.
Example: I went to a retreat and did some pilo type yoga. Ok, overdid it, strained some muscles. The group was into essential oils nf had a sore muscle blend. This was an arnica sore muscle condition and one dose would have eliminated the whole syndrome. I was curious about the oils and used them. They smelled great, pain was relieved and I slept well and woke with the same pains I used the oils for the nightbefore. One dose of arnica in the morning eliminated the problem completely and effectively.
Yes the oils eliminated the pain and stiffness for awhile, but they did not stimulate a repair in the body just a short term relief. When their influence ended the situation returned.
Arnica eliminated all of it as it reached deeper into the body
Stimulating the bodies reactive forces to actually stimulate a cure.
You took the path less traveled, you know the difference. They just do not care they are suppressing.
