Hi,
If you had time to see the film, could someone explain to me how microbes could pass through the membrane that would hold back antibiotics. I would think the microbes would be bigger than the antibiotics.

Hello Ellen, I believe the agar was impregnated with antibiotics. Do not think there was a membrane between them. This speaks to the adaption of organisms to a food supply, the agar, and how quickly they can mutate.
