In this article Mercola correctly identifies the hormetic use of opiates technically as homeopathic.
Hahnemann used what you refer to as material doses. So does Clarke, and the Banerjis. The supramolecular solute triggers a reaction without burdening the system with the intransgience of condensed mass, but that doesn't mean small doses in lower phases can't do it too
Ironically skeptics on Twitter are crying the same objection to the article, that if it's not diluted, it's not homeopathic. They skip over the reports that AIDS is being treated here for iatrogenesis, opioid toxicity, with a low dose of the same antigen. What's killing AIDS patients isn't HIV, it's painkillers abbreviating the immune system!
It appears notional science is unaware of the specificity of electrons associated with their molecule, much less when dissociated, and many homeopaths don't realize the potential in all materials to be electrically recognized by organic systems in their condensed phase.
