Just had a bloke on the phone with what he called “severe sciatica” getting worse and now today it is “pulsating” and he can feel where it starts – at the “back of the knee” and then goes up the back of thigh. I told him I didn’t like the sound of pulsating and to see his doctor or go to A&E. Did I do right? I am not medically trained as you know but am thinking maybe a blockage because I have never heard of pulsating with sciatica!!

Sounds good. I would also suggest to see a chiro with delicate hands or start him right off with a deep tissue massage to relax those muscles and maybe the pain goes down or away.

Thanks Joe – that makes me feel better. I have his mobile phone number in my phone’s call log so may text him tomorrow and see how he got on. If he has been cleared by his doctor I am willing to take him on!!
