Smoke in the air remedy?

Smoke is blowing down from Canada's massive forest fires into the United
States; plus in Minnesota, they have their own forest fire. I have trouble
breathing if only for a minute in this air though it goes away after a few
hours until the next time I go out. Anyone have any ideas besides not going
outside at all?

Maybe someone's said this, but -- doesn't this situation call for a mechanical / material aid, such as e.g. breathing through a damp handkerchief? It sounds like an actual / external matter, not an internal / energetic one. ?

Not much smoke would get into a bottle.
Use a dish, and then after a good time period pour the solution into a bottle and the potentise it.
