Subject: [ARH-Hom] Just One Drop
Dear All,
I would be grateful if you could read the message below from Laurel Chiten, producer of Just One Drop, documentary film on Homeopathy. Laurel is nearing the end of her marathon work on this film but needs just a bit more help to wind it all up. Donations of any size would be most welcome.
Thanks so much,
Helen

Since its inception, homeopathy has been controversial and there have been several reports questioning its efficacy. I know that the UK has been attacked by very powerful sceptics over the last decade or so.
A few days after we launched our crowdfunding campaign last Spring, the Australian government released the results of a major study. They concluded: “There is no reliable evidence that homeopathy works for any medical condition”.” This was the biggest review on homeopathy that has ever been done.
The world press ran with this story spreading damming headlines such as "One Millions Australians are wasting their time”, and "Homeopathy is for suckers.”
The message to the public was clear: finally, a definitive study done by a government agency, that would put an end to the question of whether homeopathy works or not. Game over. These reports have not only hurt the homeopathic profession, but they are also affecting potential patients by dissuading them from trying this medicine.
But could these reports be flawed? In my investigations, I recently came across information that suggests they might be. To get to the heart of the issue, I flew to Australia to follow the story of one man who is investigating this recent review. This could be a game changer for homeopathy and I am the only one covering this important story.
I am now back in the edit room and hoping to complete the film by the end of the year. This film can change the public narrative around homeopathy, especially in the UK.
Because this subject of homeopathy is so controversial I have not been able to raise funds from my normal means. (grants, etc). All the funding has come from generous individuals around the world!
Luckily, one of the ‘angels’ of 'Just One Drop' has recently offered to match all donations we receive until the end of April. (we might be able to stretch that to mid May) I am eager to get this film done and dusted as you say in the UK.
Every little bit helps! All contributors who give over $500 will be listed in the screen credits. DONATE HERE Every dollar will be doubled!
Together we will get this film born and out into the world!
Much love,
Laurel
