Subrata receiving the honour in his alma mater
This month we’d like to tell you about the Course in Calcutta; the award given to Dr Subrata K. Banerjea and the change to our graduation celebrations in July'16.

The Calcutta Homeopathic Medical College, home to our Principal, honoured his contribution to homoeopathy worldwide. He was welcomed by the Principal, Dr. Kajal Bhattacharyya (right) and presented with a memorial plaque among many congratulatory speeches. Dr. Banerjea gave a short presentation on his approach in prescribing which was well received by post graduates, M.D students, undergraduates at the college and past graduates who also attended. The event was reported in the local newspaper and the ‘Legacy’ journal published by the college.


Blossom Ball 1st July 2016
This year we are having even more fun at our graduation event and a Blossom Ball seemed appropriate to celebrate with our graduates. In addition to past and present college students, families and friends, we are extending invitations to anyone who wishes to support the project in Calcutta.
Presentation of Diplomas, Authentic Indian Food, a raffle, a 'for sale' table , music , from ‘The Dowleys’ and entertainment all from 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the college and are £25.00 each.


Children queuing to receive milk
For those that are new to the work of the Allen College and the Banerjea family it will come as no surprise that coming from a city such as Calcutta, charity in the slums is important and 5 projects are currently supporting homoeopathic treatment and milk for the children in the slums and in rural areas on the outskirts of the city.


Delayed milestones-- Subrata did a 'look & diagnose' prescription of Baryta Carb
The Calcutta Clinical Course this year was attended by Thai, Egyptian, Spanish, South African, Turkish, German and English homoeopaths. It was a busy schedule with a lot of clinic visits and 2 rural camps along with a short break to Darjeeling in the middle.
