Hi Bob,

Phos has a hemorrhagic tendency.

It may be helpful for the after effects of anesthesia. (Helps bring them back to themselves.)

why on earth are they giving a blood thinner before surgery where there will be bleeding? Never heard of such a thing. I would certainly REFUSE

I hear you Sheri -- .made me wonder too. The patient has a degree of venous congestion that is apparently their concern.

I researched this in the last months as my mother is in Atrial fib with a pacemaker.
First doctor said he agreed with just doing aspirin
We moved and next Dr. ordered it and I started looking into them (didn't do them)

New doctor ordered Eliquis (nearly $400 for a month's supply)

More nasty stuff from Big Pharma.

I did not read in these articles that you could not stop taking the drugs. What they all say is that
they may cause bleeding and there is no way to stop the effects of the drug as they can with wayfarin
by using Vit K.

Still, very nasty sounding and cannot imagine anyone wanting to take these drugs without prompting
and pushing by the doctors themselves. And in this regard, the horror is that drug corps are not
educating doctors on the impossibility to control bleeding from the drugs.

that is exactly what it says

from an allopathic drug perspective they talk about getting off the drug if going into surgery and being

put on another one. I interpret is as they will keep you on a drug because they have nothing else to offer

as well as needing to keep you in a co-dependent relationship with them--so drug upon drug upon drug.

the idea of getting 'weaned' off a drug is not part of their thinking. the idea would be, from a homeopathic

or naturopathic perspective would be to find out the cause, treat that, and have no need for any drug at all
