infected bursitis advice please

It started last night – thought maybe I bruised my elbow doing press-ups and down onto elbows and the like in a class . I have also been picking at the loose skin on the psoriasis on my elbow and making it bleed!!
Woke during the night in a lot of pain. Elbow was swollen very painful like splinters, agony on being touched, sore throat right hand side. Decided I had an infected elbow and took Hepar 200. Pain was definitely relieved. In the morning sore throat now on left side. I took another Hepar 200 – very little pain now even on touching but elbow still very swollen, soft to touch and very hot. I also have a gastritis feeling since this morning, pain as if I have taken aspirin (my pre homeopathic days!!) . All I have taken is a strong probiotic.
Husband insisted on me seeing the doctor who said I had an infected bursitis and gave me a high dose antibiotics Flucloxacillin (500g, 4 times a day) which at the moment I am not taking.
OK so the bursitis may have been the weights I was also doing on that arm last night and infection from picking the psoriasis!!
Anyone any better ideas than continue the Hepar 200 say twice a day?
Thanks
Rochelle

Arum trip - throat right then left.
Joints as if sprained.
Picks at the skin until it bleeds (usually the lips)
