Hi,
I have a patient with evident edema. She collapsed into a 2 week coma from subdural bleeding putting pressure on her brain. Has high blood pressure and narrowing of blood vessels as you would expect.

She did not really wake up until they put a tube into the subdural area over her brain. The tube is draining fluid to her belly area.

My guess is she would not be alive without this tube.

My question is: Are the following rubrics referring to this kind of condition?
But the remedies don't seem so helpful.

My question:
Is this a case of a loss of animal fluid? I am assuming that cerebral fluid is not draining properly, but she has puffy ankles, a widows hump and in general looks puffy and over weight. White, soft, slightly moist skin. Calc-carb looking.

The major remedy seems to be Apis, BUT in Hering you find the only remedy as Calc Carb in Hydrocephalus traumaticus.

​Thanks Dr. Roz. Hydrocephalus ​ is much more specific than what I had, loss of animal fluids. The rest of the case fits calc and not apis.

I am going to use the fibonacci potencies. It is so nice to start so low with the plan to go up.

WARNING, I am going to write heretic lines......

You can use 2 remedies at the same time; this case fits Calc Carb but he might need Apis (or Bryonia for that matter due to the effusions) as a "local or rather focal" remedy.

Principles disappear when the life or health of a patient is in the balance.

I am treating my elderly cat for an adenocarcinoma of the antrum (behind her nose); it started with sneezing that answered well to Sabadilla, then one night she sneezed blood. X Rays and biopsy confirmed the tumour that had invaded the upper jaw as a tooth was loose and was removed as if it did not belong there, almost fell down. Bad smell from her mouth. Prognosis extremely grim....

The tumour repertorise Aurum Met, but also Ars Alb, which is more in line with her personality and behaviour. I do not have time to play around, she is a precious cat, one that was born at home in our daughter's bed, she is more human than cat....
So, I give her at least 3x/day in her food the mix Aurum Met + Ars Alb 5+8+13+21+34C.

It has been 3 months now....within a few days, sneezing stopped; appetite voracious; mouth odour gone; grunting noises when eating gone; behaviour as boisterous as ever.
After 4 weeks of the mix, I gave her a full series of Luesinum (Syphillinum), then started again the Aurum+Ars. Will follow with a full series of Carcinosin and a third go at Aur+Ars.

I will not know if the cancer is cured or just stopped and controlled...but who cares? she is well feeling well so far, her only problem is her advanced age; she is 18 y/o now, I hope to keep her at least until she is 20 and more if possible.

Congratulations on your good, good work!
Years ago I treated a cat for liver cancer, but using Dr. Ramakrishnan's protocol of alternating organ-specific remedy with nosode. It requires 10 doses a day, rather a pain to administer -- except this cat was so on board with the treatment that she'd climb into her mistress's lap every afternoon for her 2 1/2 hours of treatment. She lived to age 24.
Good to know your technique, which seems are easier to handle.
