Hello,

Homeopathy means "similar suffering" and is the method of healing developed
by Samuel Hahnemann where "cure" is found by matching the symptoms of the
suffering individual with symptoms in the Materia Medica.

There is MM available on some sarcodes, and so these might be used
homeopathically, but it sounds from your description as if you are speaking
of something other than homeopathy.

Baxi, would you mind qualifying your choice of Bamboo - I don't see it at
all in this case - yes it has a lot of spine/back problems, has a connection
with cancer - like Conium, but the situation of the shyness isn't really
there in Bamboo, nor the 'leakage' from the rectum.

But just for a moment lets be poetic - this person has a rigidity, is stuck,
cannot move (sits all day at the computer) and has corrosive leakage from
the rectum - maybe these are his secrets that he is letting out and the case
needs to be rediscovered, i.e. we need to know why and how he has got to
this stage in his life.

Perhaps you will say why you think he needs Bamboo.

Best wishes, Joy Lucas

I would think of Calc Flour in potency for the spinal instability, also
might treat the cysts. Stools gushing and watery so possibility of
leakage?/ The Calc component is shy not wanting to be observed. Calc Flour
Boyd says Calc Flour child anxious to please. Jean

Hi Jean and group,

I have had patient on Calc fluor & Silica 3x daily for the past almost 12
months - for the laxity of the bowel, the spine, and to help eliminate the
lipomas. So far, it appears to have helped markedly with the spine(which is
a great improvement), but nothing else. From his descriptions, his stools
don't appear to be watery, but properly formed. Gushing has never occurred,
that patient can recall(or is telling me about). Shyness to me may be just
introverted to another. He is quite open with me(he finds the homeopathic
fascination with bowels quite amusing!), but I do find him a person who
prefers to be in his own company, and hasn't always been confident with the
world. To observe him in a homeopathic consultation, he holds your gaze
well, and answers any questions, in any amount of detail, if prompted. Now
he understands the detail to which I need information, he is forth-coming
with it. So, maybe shyness conjures up a picture of someone who can't look
at the next person - not so with this patient. He did, however say in the
first consultation he has difficulty expressing himself to people. He's not
one to initiate conversation - his words were:"I've always felt very shy".
Hope this clarifies things.

Rhonda
