Greetings to All !
We would like to draw some attention to a couple of recent books by SoH members, Mike Andrews and Jane Wood.
There is currently an absolute flood of books on Autism and possible ways of treating its sufferers. One recent title creating some homeopathic waves is Mike Andrews' 'Homeopathy and Autism Spectrum Disorder'. This is worth investigating to all in the homeopathic field.

Mike Andrews 'Homeopathy and Autism Spectrum Disorder £13.95 (reduced from £15.95)
UK paperback. Published 2014. 208 pages
Anybody involved with the Society of Homeopaths in the UK will be aware of the work of Mike Andrews who has been in full-time homeopathic practice since 1990. He has worked with children with diagnoses of dyspraxia, dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, Asperger's and Autism.
This book presents the clinical experiences of homeopaths working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) around the world, exploring the outcomes that are being achieved in practice. Anecdotally, homeopathy has been found to be helpful for managing aggression, improving physical health problems and enhancing overall well-being in some children and adults with autism. This will be compelling reading for homeopaths, other healthcare professionals, teachers, parents and all those who come in to contact with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Secondly, there is a most interesting title by another leading light of the Society of Homeopaths - Namely Jane Wood. This is entitled 'The Compassionate Practitioner' . Jane Wood received an award at the SoH AGM in March this year.

Jane Wood 'The Compassionate Practitioner' £13.95 (reduced from £15.95)
UK Paperback. Published 2014. 205 pages.
Misha Norland has recommended Jane's book 'The Compassionate Practitioner' He points out that there are the complicated psychological implications, not to mention the practical business of setting up a practice. He has stated the following,"Jane Wood investigates with clarity, tacking issues theoretically, as well as giving personal development techniques to implement changes that should act from within to without. It seems to me that she has left few stones unturned. More Importantly, she has given us a definitive self-help manual where one has been sorely needed" Praise indeed from a man who might well if pushed, have written such a book himself perhaps (!)
