Find the name of the following remedy:
This remedy mostly affects glands and connective
tissues.
There is swelling of lymph nodes. Swellings have a
certain amount of elasticity rather than being hard.
This elastic swelling may be also seen in connective
tissues, mammae, thyroid and uterus.
'Glandular hardening of mammary glands with persistent
pain' 'Retraction of nipples' (This remedy is
indicated in some cases in early stages of breast
cancer.) 'Fibroid uterus tumours with burning,
shooting and stinging pains'
Discharges and mucous secretions are ropy and
tenacious.
It is one of the good remedies for suppurative otitis
media when 'Silica seems indicated but fails to act'.
It is compared with Calc-f. (Calc-f swellings are
stony hard)
