Why did I believe this video? Why wouldn't so many others not believe it?

So many other people will not believe it because it doesn't come to a conclusion that they want, which is that they want their desires fulfilled, whether greed, gluttony, conformity, etc. So they watch the video but "require" confirmation and go and look at the studies that say it is OK that they save/make money with Splenda, or it is OK to enjoy the taste of things made with Splenda etc.

So often people "see" stupidly because their desires get in the way.
