Can anyone tell me the difference between a reaction in a patient has to a wet dog when she is not affected by the dog when it is dry. This is a poodle which is supposed to be “hypo-allergenic”
Any water dogs like labs are << also.

When I had asthma, I had the same problem, tolerated dry dogs better than wet ones.
It was as if the dry allergens stayed on the dog and the wet ones evaopared all over into the air.
Dog dander (microscopic) is the allergen here, and it is reasonable to expect it to go airbone in water droplets.
SO wit wet dogs, it is just a higher concentration of allergens that spreads around more.
