Greetings to All !
Books on children's types are particularly sought after by homeopaths. Douglas Borland's booklet covered just 29 types in a succinct manner over 56 pages. Since then Paul Herscu's Homeopathic Treatment of Children has probably been the most celebrated follow-on despite just having the eight lengthy descriptions of Calc Carb, Lycopodium, Medorrhinum, Nat Mur, Phosphorus, Pulsatilla, Sulphur and Tuberculinum. It covered the eight most important remedy types in serious depth over 375 pages and has generally been accepted as a tour de force. Since then Catherine Coulter and Frans Kusse http://www.minervabooks.co.uk/index.php ... ct_id=1456

have produced their own works which covered more remedies but in less detail.
Farokh Master's Clinical Observations of Children's Remedies first appeared in 1999 and saw an expanded second edition in 2003 with over 750 pages. A third even larger edition with 85 types appeared in 2006. This work collated the work of many homeopaths and brought a very good reaction indeed. It is well worth a good perusal.
This very latest title in this field by the tragically departed Patricia Le Roux, 'Homeo-Kids' owes much to Douglas Borland and in truth is an expanded version of Borland. It is in the same kind of style and to be honest probably leaves you with wanting more. It especially provokes questions regarding the choice of some of the less familiar remedies such as Jalapa, Bombyx, and Ozonum. There is no explanation and also no cases to back up their inclusion which is somewhat frustrating.

Please find enclosed the two chapters on Carcinosin and Hekla Lava on the attachment.

This sturdy hardback is produced to a high standard.
Regards to all
