Female, 50+, minister of religion has had hom treatment for over 10
yrs and does well in general (various rx used over the years have
helped or 'moved her on'- she usually responds to a 'correct' rx
within 24-48hrs). Her current state is:

i am weary (mental/physical)
weeps with self pity
i would be angry with people but don't have the energy - is angry
at 'life'cos of how she is now
don't be nice to me or i will cry
feel have too many demands made of me
job=tedious, no emotional energy
feel drained of energy
feel flat, emotionally dead
wants to escape (to her own house where she can potter in the garden
(she lives in church house)or on holiday with just husband)
people drain her - she can have enough energy for paperwork 'work'
she wept when telling me of her son and how he's not coping at being
a new father - this upsets her a lot. she also has elderly parents
who are independant but nevertheless a worry cos of health probs.

i have used her own language above. she did not respond to sepia. i
have now given aurum but not 100% convinced.
TIA, Janice

Dear Janice, when I read cases like this I often think about Phos-Ac - the
case is dominated by a dreadful emotional weariness.

But I am also thinking about Silicea = weeps when kindly spoken to +
homesick + weary + weeps from despair.

There is great prostration of mind and body and a tendency to easy
exhaustion. Want of grit (remember what Silicea actually is). Sensitive
weeping mood, mental acuteness with physical weakness and torpidity
(Phatak).

Also think about Sil. being the chronic of Pulsatilla when you get weepy
people, who often cry during the consultation.

There are many "why is she like this" questions to this case but without
further information I would suggest you look at these 2 remedies.

Best wishes, Joy Lucas

Thanks for your comments. I gave Ph Ac 1 or 2 remedies back and it didn't
seem to help but it may be worth looking at it again or in a different
potency. She has always responded very quickly to remedies so when there is
no reaction I have assumed it was the wrong remedy.
The other day I tried muscle testing with a few rx - sil, ph-ac,aurum
included and aurum was 'strong' so I gave this but not overly happy
As to why is she like this - the only answer I have is that she is fed up of
the demands (or perceived demands?)of other people and her overconcern for
her son/grandson
She is ringing this weekend if no > on the aurum so will look at your 2
suggestions again

TIA Manice
Your patient weeps and desires sympathy, give her one dose of Pulsatilla 200 or 1000 at bed time. Later, Arnica may also be required. Side by side stress of exciting factors should be reduced, she should be consoled, she should make herself busy in welfare. Reiki treatment shall be very good alternate of psycho therapy.
