We are delighted to invite you to register for this year's Cockcroft Rutherford Lecture. Professor Dame Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer for England, will be delivering her talk 'The Drugs Don't Work'. Dame Sally will set out the stark facts that show that drug resistance among bacteria, viruses and other microbes poses a grave threat to health both nationally and globally. She will set out the scale of the problem in human medicine and will talk about her vision for the future.

The lecture will start promptly at 6pm and will be held in Lecture Theatre B, University Place. There will be a tea and coffee reception at 5:30pm.
