Hi all,

In another group I came across the concept of homeopathic vitamins, which I
had never heard before of.
http://www.elixirs.com/ sells them plus gives info how those rxs are
manufactured, which is as odd to me as the products

Is any of you familiar with this or somehow could enlighten me on this.

This idea pushes my skeptical/cynical buttons.

Vitamins are a biological need in the body.
Homeopathic vitamins implies that the body’s nutrition can be controlled by energy alone

I too agree with being sceptical on this. However, having said this. It has also crossed my mind more than a couple of times; could potentization as in a tissue salt analogy, create a synergism that not only provides a small material dose, but also enhances it's effectiveness in biological activity due to potentization.

personally, i wish it were true. the remedies are a heck of a lot cheaper than the supplements
and a lot easier to travel with them

Depends why you want to use them.

They cannot replace material vitamins as nutrients.
They could be used for symptom reasons:-)

Nope, the intent is not that these *replace* vitamins, but that they are (see my just-prior note) vitamin-like in function; necessary nutrients.
(I'm assuming it is indeed cell salts being talked about; that's what the photos look like to me.)

Yes, that's what's said about cell salts. A small material dose *and* enhances absorption of it from the foods.

...a very small material dose, 6X is 1ppm (1 part per million), so to get 1 mg of any mineral, you need to swallow 1kg of cell salts...

And yet, they work… :-)

Not as nutrients they do not.
They enhance cell health which is a totally different result from providing nutrients.
Vitamin remedies may be useful too, but NOT as nutrients - for exampe they may help undo damage which was a consequence of a prior deficinecy.
You still need the material nutrient to fix the deficiency.
NO remedy in potency can act as a material dose to replace a nutrient.
That is why nutrition is SO important for homeopats to understand.
Example:
A recent case I was asked to help with involved Cheetahs in UAE. Three of eight had already died from (a misdiagnosed disease) when I was approached. I coudl immediately see from the autopsy photos that the claimed disease was NOT aywhere in sight.
My study of the symptoms pointed immmediatey to copper deficiency and tests then proved it - which was in time to save the other five cheetahs, a lion on the edge of deah and multipe gazelles.
NO remedy would have saved them.
They all needed material copper doses,
plus Vit E to make sure it was not sequestrated and was available for hemoglobin production,
plus iron to make hemoglobin.
(Their diet was mainly locally grown chicken, but it lacked copper and iron, as the desert soil there lacks copper.)
NONE of these nutrients can be supplied by a remedy. ALL need material doses.

AN entire (newish - moved there from another area) conservation center of animals was about to die from copper deficinecy - not to mention the humans also newly in the area.
Do not play games with nutrients. They are needed in material dose, and are not called "essential" for nothing.
:-)
Namaste,
Irene
